Funeral service for Brian Langford, 41, Elgin, will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Letitia Baptist Church, with Pastor Larry Thoma and Rev. Johnny Timms, officiating. Burial will follow at the Letitia Cemetery under the direction of the Elgin Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family greeting friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Langford passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 in Lawton. He was 41 years, 10 months, and 5 days old.

Brian Keith Langford was born July 27, 1970 to Charles and Linda (Sharp) Langford in Lawton, OK. He graduated from Elgin High School in 1989. Brian was a lifetime member of the Elgin First Baptist Church. After graduation, Brian worked in the Supply Branch, DOL, at Ft. Sill. In 1995, he joined the Ft. Sill Fire Department where he served until his health would no longer allow. Brian married Jennifer Coyle on September 22, 2001 at Cox Store Fire Department. The two had been married for 10 years. Brian enjoyed drag racing at the Faxon and Walters Speedways. He enjoyed yard work, chasing fires, and attending his children’s functions and activities. He was a wonderful son, brother, husband, and dad and will be missed dearly!

He is survived by his parents: Charles and Linda Langford of Elgin; his wife Jennifer of the home; 1 daughter, Ashton Langford of Elgin; 2 sons: Dylan and Brandon Langford of Elgin; 1 brother, Clint Langford and his wife Melanie of Eastern Comanche County; 3 nieces: Kyla, Brook, and Lori Langford; 1 nephew Collin Langford and another nephew on the way; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Edward and Flossie “Toots” Sharp and his paternal grandparents: Charles and Lou Langford.
