I'm going to miss my Aunt Olivene. My prayers go out to all family and friends who will also miss her. Our "Walabean" has gone home to take care of Corbett.

i am very sorry to hear of the news, i really thought allot of mrs barnett and the late husband walter, these were almost another set of parents to me, i was very close to elmer and velma, when i was in the area i would stop in and say hello. these were very good people. i went school with elmer and velma and really enjoyed their company, they made you feel good to be around them, the parents raised some good children, you can't find a better set of people, loved them. good bless all of the family.

Phillip & Janie - I was often at Mom's when Olivene came to visit and boy, did we have some good "gossip" sessions. Tim and I always thought your folks were tops. Please remember that we have not "lost" our loved ones - we know where they are, in Heaven awaiting our arrival to make the family circle complete once more. May God bless your lives as richly as you have blessed ours.

Your mother was such a lovely person. Always soft spoken and always faithful. She and my mother (Bernice Daeke) were friends at Elgin Baptist Church during the 1960s, and mother also spoke so highly of her. I know you will all miss her, but be assured she is at peace now, among friends and family who have gone on before. God promises "no more night, no more tears," and I know that is what she is enjoying today.

We'll miss you, Aunt "Wallabean" and know that you'll be watching over us. I can already see you and Gran playing piano and singing those beautiful hymns together with Gee-Gee. We love you and send our love to all our family in Oklahoma.
