Funeral service for Johnny L. Ball, 52, will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rodney Campbell, officiating. Burial will follow at the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
     Mr. Ball passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2011, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was 52 years, 7 months, and 7 days old.
Johnny L. Ball was born October 29, 1959 in Cyril, OK to Frank and Thelma (Keck) Ball. He attended and graduated from Sterling High School. After graduation, Johnny worked in the oilfield with his dad. He drove a truck cross country for about 10 years until his health would no longer allow. Johnny enjoyed hunting and fishing and will be missed dearly.
     Johnny is survived by his son, Joshuia Ball of the home; 1 brother, Mike Ball of Fletcher; 3 sisters: Barbara Schettler and her husband Bill, Marilyn High and her husband Joe all of Sterling, and Sandy Schettler and her husband Darrin of Henderson, NV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Thelma Ball and 2 brothers: Frankie Jr. and Ricky Ball.
